As to State Inspection for Agricultural Products Quality data, Ukrainian grains storage entities have declared (as of Mar 1, 2007) in total 9,945.400 MT grains (incl. food grain — 4,067.800 MT), reported Cabinet Secretariat Agrarian Policy Implementation Coordination Administration.
As to Administration, 3,161.300 MT grains were stored (as of Mar 1, 2007) at warehouses of agricultural producers, 6,059.000 MT — at elevators, grain acceptance/processing companies or other companies providing grain storage services and 725,100 MT — at other grains storage entities warehouses.
As to report, soft wheat shared 4,339.700 MT of total declared grains, hard wheat — 27,400 MT, rye — 171,200 MT, barley — 2,454.800 MT, oats — 102,000 MT, maize — 1,899.600 MT, leguminous — 116,500 MT (incl. peas — 111,800 MT/millet — 15,200 MT), buckwheat — 56,000 MT, rice — 23,600 MT, triticale — 15,400 MT, grain mixtures — 90,000 MT, high-quality/hybrid seeds — 633,100 MT (incl. winter crops seeds — 53,500 MT, spring grains/leguminous seeds — 535,200 MT and maize seeds — 44,400 MT).
Besides, as to submitted declarations, stored sunseeds equaled to 2,413.800 MT, soy seeds — 202,000 MT and rape seeds — 7,800 MT.
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, Ukrainian Agricultural Minister Yuriy Melnyk declared he was certain this year grains crop would grow up to 38 mn MT.
