As to Petro Verbytskiy, Deputy Ministry of Agrarian Policy, press-conference report, Ministry reckons Jan-Jul 2007 grain export quote will be 1.8 mn MT. «As of now, draft Decree stipulating 2006 crop grain export quote as much as 1.8 mn MT has been already elaborated. Yet it is just a draft Decree so far,» declared Deputy Minister. As to Verbytskiy, in case of necessity Government will prolong grain export quoting for next MY crop grain. As to Agro Perspective earlier report, Cabinet had adopted Decree № 1418 «About Bringing Changes into Ukrainian Cabinet Decree № 1304 from Dec 30, 2005 and recognizing Ukrainian Cabinet Decree № 1364 from Sept 28, 2006 inefficient». Decree № 1418 stipulated that following export quotes: wheat (except emmer wheat) and wheat/rye mixture (mesline) 400,000 MT; barley 600,000 MT; maize 600,000 MT and rye 300,000 MT should be established for period until end this year. As to Decree, emmer wheat (as well as seeds rye) export customs clearance should be performed due to Ministry of Agrarian Policy corresponding explanatory letter.
