Ukrainian Apr dairy products export down 4.5%

As of this year Apr, Ukraine has declined its dairy products’ export to US$23 million, down 4.5% against last year Apr, Ukrinform says referring to the Ukrainian Milk Producers Association report.
«Butter, cheese and whey export sale rates have shortened. However, the sales of whole milk products and milk powder, by contrast, have grown,» the report reads.
As to the report, as of this year Apr, butter export has faced the deepest decline - to 1,700 tons (down 44% against last year Apr) or to US$7 million (down 47%). It is to be admitted, the butter was purchased mostly by Azerbaijan (for US$1 million), Netherlands (US$88,000) and Georgia (US$46,000).
