Ukrainian last 4 years berries export up almost 5 times

As of this year Apr 24, an international forum for berries/fruits growing S-Fruit Transformation takes place within Kyiv, Ukrinform says referring to the Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Foods report.
As to the report, while speaking within the Forum, Ukrainian Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Foods Olga Trofimtseva said within last 4 year Ukrainian agrarians have grown their berries export almost 5 times: from 4,500 tons up to 23,500 tons.
«Within last 4 years, the Ukrainian berries’ export has grown almost five times: from 4,500 tons up to 23,500 tons. The Ukrainian fresh berries are exported to Belarus, Poland, Moldova, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands; at same time, the frozen berries are exported mostly to the EU countries,» she admitted.
As to her, as of 2018, Ukrainian berries crop was 132,900 tons (all categories companies), with agricultural companies having grown just 15,300 tons.
«The strawberries’ crop was 62,300 tons, what makes the highest share of the Ukrainian total berries’ crop. The second highest share has been assured by raspberries (35,600 tons) and the third - by currents (29,600 tons),» she said.
