Nibulon to invest US19 mln into Zaporizhia region river terminal

JV Nibulon Ltd, one of the largest Ukrainian grains’ traders, is going to invest US$19 million into construction of a river transshipment terminal within Ternivka (Zaporizhia region), Interfax-Ukraine says referring to the Nibulon report.
As to the report, the terminal launch is to take place within the next year Jun.
Reportedly, along with the terminal, the project envisages construction of a berth of over 3 km long and dredging works on the Ploska Osokorivka River.
As to the report, the terminal will hire 120 employees and will pay over UAH2.7 million of taxes to the local budget a year.
The terminal will be third for Nibulon within the Zaporizhia region.
It is to be admitted, Joint Venture Nibulon Ltd was established 1991. It has elevator capacities totaling about 2 million tons, its own transshipment terminal within Mykolayiv with a capacity of 5 million tons, 11 river terminals on the Dnieper and the Southern Bug, and a vessel fleet of 67 vessels, and the Mykolayiv shipbuilding plant. As of now, Nibulon processes 83,000 ha land; it exports its agricultural products to more than 60 countries, with the annual export volume exceeding 4.5 million tons.
