Ukrainian Foods Safety Service, EBA discussed cooperation urgent issues

As of this week, experts of the Ukrainian State Service for Foods Safety and Consumer Protection and the members of the EBA (European Business Association) have held a traditional working meeting, within which they have discussed the urgent issues of the interaction between the State and business,
Ukrainian State Service for Foods Safety and Consumer Protection reports.
As to the report, the Ukrainian State Service for Foods Safety and Consumer Protection was represented by its Chief Volodymyr Lapa, Director of the Department of Food Safety and Veterinary Medicine Borys Kobal, Deputy Director of the Department of Food Safety and Veterinary Medicine Artyom Saienko and other officials.
As to the report, the meeting was initiated by the EBA; the meeting was intended to analyze the those problematic issues of the business activity which are within the competence of the Ukrainian State Service for Foods Safety and Consumer Protection.
Thus, in part., the meeting participants have discussed the state of the current Parliament discussion of the draft Law «On information for consumers about food products» and the prospects for its adoption upon whole as a law.
Besides, the meeting participants have discussed the work of the Ukrainian Foods Safety Service on the adoption of a single form of veterinary certificates for import due to veterinary and sanitary requirements, the functioning of the State register of feed additives, and a number of other issues.
As to the report, within the meeting, the Ukrainian Food Safety Service experts have given a number of explanations and answers to the questions put by the business representatives.
