Ukrainians consider corruption to be main problem for country

46% of Ukrainians call corruption the main problem for Ukraine, 68% consider inflation as the biggest problem for themselves, NRCU says referring to
the results of a poll released on this year Nov 28 by the United States Analytical Center of the International Republic Institute (IRI).
As to the poll, the conflict within the Donbass region was named as the biggest challenge for the country by 43% of respondents, prices rising by 36%.
Asked about the kind of problem that has the greatest impact on their personal level, in addition to inflation, Ukrainians called the conflict within the Donbass (28%) and unemployment (26%).
As to the poll, 67% of Ukrainians believe that the country is moving in the wrong direction (68% of them in June this year). At the same time, it is likely that some Ukrainians see more grounds for optimism at the local level. Thus, the survey indicates that 85% of Khmelnytsky residents believe that their city is moving within the right direction, and only 24% of the interviewed Khmelnytsky citizens believe that the whole of Ukraine is moving within the right direction.
