At its today meeting, the Cabinet has approved the concept of the Ukrainian e-governance development, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, while introducing the corresponding decision, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman emphasized that the IT sector is one of the essential components of growth of Ukrainian economy. And the fact that the country is switching to e-technology is viewed as being one of the incentives to promote development of this sector.
«I think that rather serious work has been done. By the end of year, we will have 100 electronic services, benefit from identification mobile applications to obtain those services thus, we will open up access to an even larger range of services. The process keeps moving, we will accelerate it,» he said.
Besides, he emphasized that it is crucial at this stage to create a single environment and this requires a political will. «And here we must advance towards the future instead of being a feature of the past,» Groisman noted.
