Poroshenko: Ukraine to expand cooperation with European Union

As of today, while speaking within a meeting with representatives of national and foreign business in Kyiv, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said Ukraine is going to continue to deepen cooperation with the European Union in order to assure development of the State and the EU membership within the future, Ukrinform says referring to the President press service report.
«We will expand our cooperation with the European Union. I believe that we can enter the Schengen Area. I believe that we can enter the EU Customs Union. I believe that we can enter the European Energy Union. I believe that Ukraine can become a member of the European Common Aviation Area,» Poroshenko admitted.
«These are the steps before the EU membership and the NATO membership will be open to us. But, firstly, we must work jointly, persistently and effectively in order to meet the criteria,» Poroshenko noted.
