The II International Grain Conference GRAIN UKRAINE will take place in Odessa on the 7th and 8th of July with support of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. The Conference is organized by the group of terminals «TIS», Head of the Organization Committee is Mr. Andrey Stavnitser.
The main grain event of summer in Eastern Europe II international conference GRAIN UKRAINE will be held on July 78 in Odessa. GRAIN UKRAINE is the main summer platform for dialogue between the major representatives of the agrimarket, leaders of the major Ukrainian agrarian and food companies, commercial and investment banks, trend-setters in the agrarian sphere and managers, the leading business media for discussing the latest innovations in the agricultural market. The main focuses of the Conference program in 2017 will be the tendencies and requirements of consumer markets.
GRAIN UKRAINE took place for the first time in 2016 and laid the foundations of further development and effective interaction between the guests. The Conference was attended by over 300 participants. 23 World-class speakers participated in the event, among them were John Shmorgun, Roger Jenson, Klaus Holzinger, David Hightower, Diego Lerini and others. GRAIN UKRAINE 2016 considered the most important aspects of agribusiness in Ukrainian context. Roger Jenson (Vice President of Cargill) stated the further intention of Cargill to invest in Ukraine; Quach Keo Hoa (Director of Guangzhou Donlinks International Investment Co.) turned in the insider information on growth of sunflower oil import from Ukraine to China; Eduard Shteinbuk (Member of Advisory Board of Pareto Capital 80/20) explained how Ukraine can prevent the global food crisis.

Now Cooper uses all his experience for the benefit of the International Grains Council (IGÑ), which is an inter-governmental organization aiming at deepening of international cooperation in the sphere of grain trading, contributing to provision of grain sector development, its openness and fairness, as well as enhancing of grain market stability and the World food safety
- Matt Ammermann (UK). Risk Manager and Vice President Eastern Europe/Black Sea Region with the FCM Division of the INTL FCStone Financial Inc. Working at the forefront of risk management in one of the fastest and largest growing agricultural markets in the world, his team provides risk management solutions to help improve and control margins and the impact of commodity prices to a business’s operation
- Andrei Agapi (UK). Team Leader of Europe and Black Sea physical grains markets coverage at S&P Global Platts, the company which is now the most authoritative source of information to assess the prices on both physical and futures market. Andrei’s work experience is in the financial sector, having worked in private equity, where he was involved in market analysis of clean-tech agriculture companies in Europe. He holds a master degree in finance from Toulouse Business School, France.
