Agrarian Policy Ministry: Turkey invests over US$260 mln into Ukrainian agricultural sector this year

As of today, while speaking within the Ukrainian-Turkish Agribusiness Forum dedicated to expanding international cooperation in the agricultural sector between the two countries, Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Deputy Minister Olga Trofimtseva has said Turkey has already invested over US$260 million into the Ukrainian agricultural sector this year, Ukrinform reports.
«Turkey has already invested more than US$260 million into the Ukrainian agricultural sector this year,» Trofimtseva said.
As to the report, she ahs also noted that over 120 Turkish companies attended the Ukrainian-Turkish Agribusiness Forum to expand the opportunities for agricultural cooperation with the Ukrainian side.
«I hope that this format will give us an opportunity to give impetus to the development of cooperation in the agricultural sector, both in the development of trade and implementation of joint investment projects,» Trofimtseva said and added that the Turkish side is interested in the cooperation with Ukrainian companies on the third markets.
