Temping is a short-term fix for economy, says ILO
16.11.2016 08:02 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
The growing shift towards temporary job contracts’ conslusion has resulted in lower pay and greater insecurity for workers worldwide, along with much lower productivity too, UN Radio says referring to the ILO (International Labour Organization) this week report.
As to the report, the problem has grown in both richer and poorer countries, and it has become widespread across different industries and occupations.
Reportedly, new and emerging forms of temporary employment significantly affect workers, employers and society.
As to the report, women, young people and migrants are most likely to be in short-term work.
