Groisman urges to intensify mechanisms of housing subsidy
08.11.2016 13:08 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
As of today, while speaking within the conference on the progress of implementation of the Ukrainian housing subsidy program, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman has urged the Ukrainian
local authorities to apply maximally the tools to compensate for payment for housing and communal services under the housing subsidy program as well as instalment plans for payment for utility services to limit the expenditures of each Ukrainian family on housing and communal services after the introduction of market gas price, Government Portal reports.
«Today it is crucial to ensure execution of these mechanisms locally. I reiterate that whoever has money should pay full price for gas, for heating, while those families who have low incomes need a clear compensation which is timely and efficient assigning of housing subsidies,» Groisman has said.
As to the report, Groisman has noted the importance of social support for Ukrainian citizens provided for reimbursement for the cost of housing and utility services in order to protect each Ukrainian family after fair market prices for gas had been introduced and the heating season had started in the country.
