Groisman, Mingarelli meeting

As of yesterday, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman met with Head of the European Union delegation to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, Groisman stressed that bipartite relations between Ukraine and the European Union are of strategic importance.
Reportedly, within the meeting, Groisman emphasized the need to ensure implementation by the parties of the objectives included into the Ukraine EU Association agenda, in particular, ratification of the Association Agreement, the use of the second tranche of macro-financial assistance worth EUR600 million, the introduction of a free visa regime for Ukrainian nationals.
«We expect a decision of the European Union on the visa-free regime for the Ukrainian citizens,» Prime Minister said, noting that Ukraine had fulfilled all the necessary requirements for liberalization of the EU visa regime.
Moreover, Volodymyr Groysman highlighted that the Government is further pursuing a policy of reforms. For his part, Head of the European Union to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli praised the efforts of the Government on the reform path. He noted that over the past two years Ukraine had changed a lot.
