Klimkin: Poroshenko, Obama to meet at UN General Assembly meeting

While sharing an interview with Inter TV channel, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has announced the meeting between Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and US President Barack Obama is to be held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting, UNIAN says referring to Europeiska Pravda report.
«I believe, a brief meeting will certainly take place,» Klimkin said.
As to the report, Ukrainian Foreign Minister has reminded that Obama had earlier devoted special attention to Ukrainian issue at the G20 summit in China. As to Klimkin, Poroshenko will address the UN General Assembly.
The minister has also noted that two meetings of the UN Security Council will be held.
«And it is very important for us, because one will be devoted to the Middle East and Syria, and the other to the aviation safety, ahead of which we expect the final report on the Malaysian Boeing. Its very important,» Klimkin said.
The 71st session of the UN General Assembly will launch at the UN Headquarters in New York as of this year Sept 13.
