Ukraine is ready to reform its agro-industrial complex economy up to European standards

As of last week, while on a working visit to Bruxelles, Ukrainian Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Kutovyi participated in the European and Ukrainian agrarian business round table meeting, Government Portal reports.
Within the meeting Kutovyi said Ukraine will boost cooperation with EU for the beneficial integration of Ukrainian agricultural sector into the European Community.
As to the Minister, it’s important for Ukraine during the formation of agrarian policy to use the experience of the EU in the issues of reformation economy of agriculture sector.
«The reforming of agriculture takes place considering different internal and external conditions. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine understands the role and place of farming in the development of national and international economy,» Kutovyi stressed.
As to the report, the Minister stressed that the Ministry has already done a significant amount of work and established regular dialogue with European partners according to cooperation in the agricultural sector.
As to Kutovyi, the dynamic volumes of the bilateral trade between the EU and Ukraine show the prospects in the agro-industrial complex and later on will be boosted in the framework of the Free Trade Zone.
