Groisman launched three new hydroelectric units at Dniester PSP

As of today, the Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman has launched operation of three hydroelectric units at the Dniester PSPS in the city of Novodnistrovsk (Chernivtsi region) in order to join them to the Ukrainian power grid. The sequential launch of hydro units with total capacity of 972 MW from the main control panel was made for the first time in the history of the station, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, Groisman visit to the Dniester PSP is a part of his working visit to the Chernivtsi region today.
Reportedly, the PM also met with the staff of the station. «The development of hydropower industry is not to be slowed, it is to be accelerated,» Groisman said while speaking to the employees of the Dniester PSP.
As to the report, he noted that the hydropower industry is to receive a clear roadmap for the next ten years that would ensure strategic planning of its development.
Reportedly, Groisman also thanked the staff for their work and their having assuring the order at the station - which, as to him, must be an example for other hydropower industry companies.
