Nadra can grant Ukrainian companies UAH50 mn credits for US foods purchases

Bank Nadra can furnish Ukrainian companies loans (in total up to UAH50 mn) for cotton, meat products, grain (as well as other US foodstuffs) purchases within frameworks of Export Credit Guarantee Program (GSM-102) financed by Commodity Credit Corporation (US Department of Agriculture (USDA), reported Nadra press-service.
As to press-service, finances may be granted to Ukrainian companies within 2006 first-third quarters for 624 months; credits structure (incl. credits security) as well as granting/repayment conditions totally meet Ukrainian importers requirements.
As earlier reported, US Department of Agriculture (USDA) had chosen 5 Ukrainian banks (incl. Nadra) to participate in Export Credit Guarantee Program (GSM-102) targeted at financing of US agricultural products commercial shipments to Ukraine within fiscal year 2006.
As to Program, USDA Commodity Credit Corporation reduces creditors financial risks through providing guarantees of payments from US banks (approved by USDA) which are servicing importers; guaranties are provided up for 2 years and cover 98% credit principal amount (incl. interests) repayment on condition of principal amount being repaid by half year installments.
