Belarus, Nicaragua to step up cooperation in agriculture

Belarus and Nicaragua have agreed to cooperate tighter in agriculture. The agreement was signed during the recent visit of the Belarusian delegation to Nicaragua. The delegation was led by Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Guryanov, Belarus Radio reports referring to the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs press service.
As to the report, the Belarusian delegation took part in the second session of the Belarusian-Nicaraguan commission on trade and economic cooperation. The sides discussed concrete ways to broaden mutually beneficial cooperation in political, economic, scientific, technical, and educational sphere, topical matters concerning interaction in the international arena.
Reportedly, close attention was paid to establishing of cooperation in the area of construction industry and energy industry as well as the work meant to bolster the legal base of the bilateral cooperation.
