President introduced new Donetsk RSA Head Pavlo Zhebrivskyi

In Mariupol, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has introduced new Donetsk RSA Head Pavlo Zhebrivskyi to the civil-political activists of the region, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, the President has noted that the new RSA Head had an experience of the anti-terrorist operation - served as a volunteer in the reconnaissance battalion of the Armed Forces, took part in the battles against terrorists near Debaltseve and Volnovakha.
Reportedly, the President has also noted the experience of Pavlo Zhebrivskyi in civil service - at the post of Head of the Anti-Corruption Department at the Prosecutor General’s Office and the post of people’s deputy of three convocations.
As to the report, speaking of the main tasks for the new RSA Head, the President has particularly noted the need for ensuring fair and transparent local elections. «Fair and transparent elections mean a universal global recipe for the solution of political conflicts,» Petro Poroshenko emphasized. «In autumn, Ukrainian citizens of Donbas must make a responsible choice. Its importance becomes even greater because of decentralization,» the President said.
Besides, Poroshenko has also said he is hopeful that Verkhovna Rada will soon adopt respective amendments to the Constitution regarding decentralization.
