Poroshenko launched International Conference In Support of Ukraine: Today Ukraine is the most promising world's country

28.04.2015 15:19 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — As of today, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has launched the International Conference in Support of Ukraine, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports. As to the report, while addressing the participants, the Ukrainian Head of State emphasized: «Your solidarity is key to resolving Ukraine’s present difficulties, as well as to its future, which we see as a fully integrated, economically vibrant, and productive member of the European family of nations». Reportedly, the President noted that Ukraine kept on moving the track of European integration and implementation of reforms in all spheres of public, political and economic life. Besides, Poroshenko also told the participants about the activity of the National Reforms Council, which coordinates the reforms across the three branches of power with input from civil society. «We have created an efficient reforms team. I am proud that the government consists of many reform-oriented professionals, who are driven to implement the best world standards in Ukraine,» he emphasized. The Head of State has drawn special attention to the struggle against corruption, which remains the top priority. He has informed that the newly established National Anti-Corruption Bureau, which had been designed according to the best international standards, had been launched already. At the same time, the President noted that the bureau’s work was in large part geared toward restoring confidence in Ukraine. «We seek to introduce new rules of the game. Ukraine needs investments to build on and develop its immense potential; potential which has for so long been neglected. We need investments to restore our economy and launch sustainable growth; growth that will not only develop and modernize Ukraine, but will also be profitable for Ukraine’s investors,» the President stressed. At the end of his speech, the President has called on the participants to believe in Ukraine and support it. «Please believe in Ukraine and join us in this historic process,» he noted. it is to be admitted, the International Conference In Support of Ukraine is held in Kyiv. Its purpose is to mobilize and increase the support of Ukraine. Over 500 foreign investors, businessmen and government officials from 56 countries take part in this conference.
