Belarus, Moldova to boost agricultural cooperation

Belarus and Moldova will expand the bilateral cooperation in agriculture. The matter was discussed during the meeting between Counselor of the Belarusian Embassy in Moldova Alexander Solovyov and Moldovan Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Ion Sula, Belarus Radio says referring to the
the Belarusian Embassy in Chisinau report.
As to the report, the meeting participants discussed such matters as Belarus’ export of fertilizers and herbicides to Moldova, boosting the output of the Belarus garden tractor assembly plant in Chisinau, and the upgrade of dairy and poultry farms in Moldova.
Reportedly, the Moldovan side was briefed about the capacities of the Belarusian trade and logistics centers that can be used by Moldovan farmers to sell fruit and vegetables all year round.
As to the report, the Moldovan Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Ion Sula was invited to participate in the annual agricultural expo Belagro.
