Ukrainian agrarians have sown early grains at 237,000 ha

As of this year Mar 18, Ukrainian agrarians have already sown early grains at 237,000 ha (or 10% of total planned), down against last year similar 611,000 ha, Government Portal says referring to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food press service report.
As to the report, sowing has been started in 20 regions, with largest areas having been sown at in Odesa region 55,600 ha (32% planned), Kherson region 37,300 ha (27%), Myckolayiv region 33,800 ha (37%), Zaporizhia region 29,200 ha (16%) and Khmelnytskiy region 17,900 ha (19%).
Reportedly, winter grains have been fertilized at 5.3 million ha (or 67% of total planned), down against last year similar 6.0 million ha (with winter rape having bee fertilized at 634,000 ha (or 71% of total planned), down against last year similar 845,000 ha.
As to the report, winter grains and winter rape largest areas have been fertilized in Odesa region 621,500 ha (75% planned), Myckolayiv region 512,800 ha (73%), Dnipropetrovsk region 455,500 ha (67%), Zaporizhia region 416,700 ha (62%), Vinnytsia region 364,800 ha (85%) and Kherson region 350,600 ha (61%).
