Volodymyr Groisman gives press conference on first 100 days of eighth convocation Parliament work
10.03.2015 16:37 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
On March 10, within a press conference following the first 100 days of the Parliament of the eighth convocation, the Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Groisman proposed to develop a code of conduct for MPs, NRCU reports.
As to the report, the Speaker admitted that the atmosphere in the parliamentary coalition itself is not doing well in terms of interaction, but it is able to make decisions.
Reportedly, speaking of the 100 days of work of the Parliament, the Speaker said that the parliament of the 8th convocation held 33 plenary meetings and adopted 82 laws.
The Head of the Parliament also admitted that he introduced for deputies consideration a plan of legislative support for reforms implementation. As to him, the Parliament should soon adopt laws on financial stability, continue legislative work in the fight against corruption and speed up work on constitutional amendments.
