Yatseniuk: the sooner we approve corresponding bills, the sooner we stabilize economic situation

On Thurs, Feb 26, the Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk and Cabinet members held a meeting with the Council of the coalition of parliamentary factions in order to approve bills aimed at financial and economic stabilization in the country, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, ffollowing the meeting Arseniy Yatseniuk told reporters that the purpose was to get maximum support of all the parliamentary factions of the coalition.
He said that within recent days he along with the members of the Government held meetings with all the factions of the parliamentary coalition, except for the largest one: «I hope that tomorrow they will have the opportunity to meet and work with the Government on all bills that are necessary for financial and economic stabilization of the state.»
The Prime Minister admitted that the Government and the parliamentary factions built up a «new system of relations».
«This is the first time when the whole Government spent hours with all the factions, not with faction leaders, discussing clause after clause every bill and even a financial plan of Naftogaz or Ukrgazvydobuvannya,» he said.
As to the report, the Prime Minister emphasized that during the meetings representatives of the factions gave very constructive suggestions and noted in this the factions of «Samopomich» and «Radical Party».
«Suggestions submitted by the factions are real proposals, not just political intrigue, and they are not just examined by the Government - we support them and consequently insert them into the corresponding bills,» he said.
«United coalition and efficiency is what I call Ukrainian Parliament to,» the Prime Minister highlighted.
Besides, Yatseniuk also admitted that he had urged the Parliament to gather a meeting on this issue as soon as possible.
