Petro Poroshenko had a meeting with Angela Merkel and Joseph Biden

Within the last week working visit to Germany, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko held trilateral negotiations with Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and U. S. Vice President Joseph Biden, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, the parties discussed the development of negotiations on the peaceful resolution in the Ukrainian Donbas in the context of joint proposals on the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements elaborated in the course of the meeting between President Poroshenko, Chancellor Merkel and President Hollande in Kyiv.
Reportedly, President Poroshenko, Chancellor Merkel and Vice President Biden coordinated future steps and emphasized the need for immediate ceasefire and continuation of dialogue on the implementation of all items of the Minsk agreements.
As to the report, the interlocutors have the necessity of compliance with joint transatlantic position on the situation in Ukraine.
Reportedly, the parties also coordinated their positions on the eve of the EU Councils session at the level of Foreign Ministers.
