Poland allocates US$1 million to Ukraine

As of last week, the Polish Parliament voted for the allocation of PLN4 million (over US$1.1 million) from the national budget for the Polish-Ukrainian youth cooperation in 2015, NRCU reports.
«In the evening, we passed the amendment to the law on budget for 2015, which provides for the allocation of 4 million zlotys to finance the Polish-Ukrainian international cooperation,» Chairman of the Polish Parliament’s commission for national and ethnic minorities Myron Sycz said.
As to earlier report, in 2014 the Polish Senate had allocated PLN3 million (almost US$850,000) for the programs of school youth exchange between Poland and Ukraine.
