12.11.2014 17:39 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Dmytro Shymkiv is concerned with the increase of administrative pressure on business and emphasizes the inadmissibility of such practice, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, Dmytro Shymkiv says that in the course of the meetings with foreign entrepreneurs, investors and ambassadors, he often receives claims regarding the pressure on business in Ukraine. «Against the backdrop of politicians statements, business notes administrative pressure, which is being increased sometimes. It cannot but raise concern,» he stressed.
Reportedly, Shymkiv admits a lot of complaints are related to the proceedings initiated under the regime of Viktor Yanukovych and unjustified inspections, the number of which hasnt been reduced in comparison to the previous year. «It is strange, because we have established moratorium on inspections, but our inspection bodies are creative: they find models to enter the companies and put pressure on them,» Dmytro Shymkiv noted and added that there were also complaints regarding the actions of the Antitrust Committee of Ukraine.
Thus, Shymkiv says in order to counter the unreasonable pressure on business, the Council of National and Foreign Investors under the Ukrainian President will be restored and reformed. «This Council will make the analysis of investment projects and the examination of ways to resolve conflict situations transparent and public,» the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration told.
Besides, Shymkiv also told about the preparation to the donor conference planned for the beginning of the next year. Its purpose is to elaborate the concrete plan of state recovery for 20152017.
As to the report, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration also noted that the Presidential Administration was the leader in terms of the internal transformations and downsizing of personnel among the state institutions. So far, the staff of the Administration has been downsized by 26.9%, from 579 to 423 workers. The institution is carrying out measures on the optimization of its work and transition to the electronic workflow.
