German humanitarian aid will allow to build 4 thousand places of temporary accommodation for homeless

The German humanitarian aid provided to Ukraine will allow to solve the problem of internallydisplaced persons more effectively, Government Portal says referring to the Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman report during the meeting with Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Dr. Gerd Müller.
As to the report, the meeting was held on the results of providing Ukraine with the humanitarian aid and reconstruction materials valued at ˆ10 million.
«The help and support of our partners in the European Union and throughout the civilized world is extremely important for Ukraine. More recently, in August, at a meeting between Ukraine’s President PetroPoroshenko and German Chancellor Angela Merkel have reached an agreement to support those people who now find themselves under pressure and aggression in Eastern Ukraine. Our task, as two governments,was to implement these agreements. Today, we are witnessing how long it has taken to make words real cases,» Groisman said.
It is to be reminded, 112 trucks loaded with 745 tons of humanitarian aid valued ˆ7 million have already arrived from Germany. The aid includes heating components, kitchen supplies, generators, water and diesel tanks, winter clothing, blankets and cots, etc.
At the same time, other goods for Ukraine amounting up to ˆ3 million are still to be purchased. The help will go primarily to people to East Ukraine, first of all to Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Mariupol, Zaporizhia and Sloviansk.
