Poroshenko: Ukraine is now being supported by the whole world
04.08.2014 09:14 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
Ukraine receives strong support from both from the EU, and from the whole international community, in the protection of its territorial integrity and sovereignty, said the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in an interview with the Ukrainian TV channels, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
«Today we have direct dialogue with all the EU leaders», he said. Evidence of this is the introduction of the third-level sanctions against Russia, the removal of the embargo on the supply of non-lethal protection goods to Ukraine, and so on.
However, Petro Poroshenko said: «There is no desire to harm Russia. There is desire to help Ukraine. With these practical steps Ukraine has managed to avoid large-scale aggression».
The President has also stressed that all the efforts of Ukraine are aimed at resolving the situation in the East and securing the peace process.
He also noted that the support of the international community is focused not only on the issues of Donbass, but is focused on the support of life and development of the whole country.
