Russia permitted 3 Ukrainian companies dairy products shipments resuming

After having inspected a number of Ukrainian dairy producers, Rosselhoznadzor (RF Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision) decided to issue permissions for dairy products RF export to Ukrainian companies: Private Company KF Prometey (Menskiy Syr Subsidiary), Private Company Ross (Romenskiy Dairy Integrated Plant Subsidiary) and CJSC Pyriatynskiy Cheese Plant, reported RF Ministry of Agriculture press-service.
Thus, Ukrainian dairy products RF shipments (banned Jan 20) will in short time be resumed at minimal scale.
As to report, Rosselhoznadzor simultaneously made it known Ukrainian Veterinary Service had chosen dairy companies for RF commission inspection just formally, since a number of audited companies was neither ready for inspection nor complied in full with necessary veterinary-sanitary requirements in course of their production activity.
As to press-service, presently Rosselhoznadzor continues auditing Ukrainian Veterinary Service.
As to report, Rosselhoznadzor is as earlier worried about Ukrainian Veterinary Service having not taken up due measures on border crossing control over meat resources which might be veterinary unsafe.
As earlier reported, Feb 28, 2006 on RF Brianskaya region Russian/Ukrainian State border sector was detained a number of Ukrainian cargos grossly incompliant with RF veterinary-sanitary requirements/CIS veterinary sphere technical regulations.
It is to be reminded, Jan 20 RF had banned all kinds Ukrainian animal products import.
