Big cheese plants halted due to RF dairy products import ban

Most Ukrainian cheese making companies have stopped cheeses output due to Russian embargo on Ukrainian animal products import still remaining in effect, reported Agrarika Ltd referring to cheese producers data.
As to Agrarika Ltd, some cheese plants have already started dismissing workers owing to lack of information on RF ban canceling precise date.
As earlier reported, last week Rosselhoznadzor (RF Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision) 6 experts started inspecting Ukrainian cheese companies, ports
as well as Veterinary Medicine State Department.
Experts are going to end inspection until Mar 1.
In part., experts plan to inspect companies in Sumy region (Okhtyrskiy Cheese Integrated Plant, Romenskiy Dairy Plant and Shostkynskiy City Dairy Plant), Poltava region (Pyriatynskiy Cheese Plant, Myrgorodskiy Cheese Integrated Plant and Khorolskiy Canned Milk Baby Products Integrated Plant), Kirovograd region (Svitlovodskiy Butter and Cheese Integrated Plant), Myckolayiv region (Pervomaiskiy Canned Milk Integrated Plant, Company Laktalis (c. Myckolayiv), Bashtanskiy Cheese Plant, Voznesenskiy Cheese Integrated Plant and Company Eurolak), Cherkassy region (Zvenygorodskiy Cheese Integrated Plant and Kanivskiy Cheeses Plant) and Kyiv region (Yagotynskiy Cheese Plant, Kyivskiy City Dairy Plant ¹3); experts as well are going to control cheeses production in c. Kyiv (Company Galakton).
Jan 20 RF banned all kinds Ukrainian animal products import.
