14.02.2014 14:19 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
Ukraine is attractive for foreign investors, despite political confrontation. This was stated by the Ukrainian Acting Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov, Government Portal reports.
«We know that investors like political certainty. However, as events had showed, foreign businesses were not afraid of risks associated with the political situation in Ukraine. Investors do only continue to cooperate with our country, but they also increase their investment,» he said.
Among recent examples S. Arbuzov noticed the newly announced by Czech company ŠkodaTransportation the willingness to open manufacturing of locomotives in Zaporizhzhya.
The acting Prime Minister also remained the intention of Chinese Lishen Battery to create production line in Dnepropetrovsk to produce lithium-ion batteries, battery and electric car assembly.
In addition, S. Arbuzov pointed out the extensive cooperation of leading international institutions and countries with Ukraine.
In particular, assessing the results of last years Ukrainian-Chinese agreements, he said that because of this tens of billions of dollars may be involved in Ukraine from China.
S. Arbuzov also said that Ukraine will soon receive first investment from Russia in 2014, made possible through the Ukrainian-Russian agreement which had been signed in late 2013.
