Eight new European airlines start to serve Boryspil airport this year

Eight new European airlines start to serve Kyiv International Airport «Boryspil» this year, Acting Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Kozak told a briefing, ForUm reports.
«In 2014, eight new European airlines from among the largest companies in Europe start serve Boryspil Airport. Therefore, we expect the airport in to increase air carriages by about 25 % in the first quarter,» he said.
Acting minister added that significant changes in the D terminal are planned by the beginning of summer season.
According to him, it is planned to combine domestic and international transportation in this terminal. In addition, the parking lot is to be constructed near the terminal, the number of shops, including duty-free stores and food outlets, are to be increased.
