Ukraine can join 5 treaties of the Customs Union

Ukraine can join five international treaties of the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia. This decision was approved by the Government meeting on October 30, Government Portal reports.
It is to be reminded, that at each meeting the Cabinet of Ministers examines several international documents of the Customs Union MS and decides on possible joining to them.
Thus, on October 30, 4 treaties were considered: on the use of special protective, antidumping and countervailing measures during the transitional period (from November 19, 2010), the sanitary, veterinary and sanitary measures and plant quarantine (all three documents dated on December 11, 2009).
Last document, which has been analyzed by the Government is a protocol on the order of granting to the body that conducting the investigation the information, which contain confidential information including, for purposes of investigation that preceded the introduction of special protective, antidumping and countervailing measures against third countries (dated on November 19, 2010).
After having had adopted the protocol decision, Government charged the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to notify the Eurasian Economic Commission about the possibility of Ukraine to join these international agreements.
