UkrStateRegister to simplify procedure of state registration of lease and mortgage
24.10.2013 10:13 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
The new version of the Cabinet of Ministers’ regulation on the order of registration of rights of immovable property provides simplified registration of rights derived from property rent and mortgage.
Earlier, a citizen had to address the department of state registration of rights of immovable property of the State Registration Service of Ukraine (UkrStateRegister) three times, now, after the adoption of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, it will be sufficient to make just one visit to solve the mentioned issue.
This was stated by the Head of State Registration Service of Ukraine Dmytro Vorona during a press conference held at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on October 23, Government Portal reports.
Registration of lease and mortgage in the past took place in three stages: first registration of title to real property, the second registration of basic contract of lease and the last registration of changes or extension of the basic mortgage or lease contract.
«As of today, we have organized the work so that people can contact us directly and we will work out the extension of leases, which to be recorded in a special section of our Registry,» the Head of State Registration Service of Ukraine Dmytro Vorona said.
That is, it is sufficient to visit just once the relevant department of state registration of rights of immovable property in order to satisfy all public statements on the matter. This will save time and assure more effective work in this sphere, Dmyto Vorona said.
