Prysiazhniuk: Ukrainian products will be readily accepted by the EU
10.10.2013 11:14 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
Minister for agrarian policy and food Mykola Prysiazhniuk believes that Ukrainian agricultural products will have success on the territory of the European Union after the signing of the Association Agreement.
«Our agricultural products will be readily accepted by the EU. As far as there is no free trade area, there are no preferences, and last year the EU was the biggest importer of agricultural products 7.7 billion dollars. I am convinced that after signing the free trade area agreement large transnational European companies on food production will place their enterprises on the territory of Ukraine and we will have access to European markets,» the minister said yesterday before the Cabinet mornings sitting, ForUm correspondent reports.
In his opinion, signing of the FTA agreement will improve investment attractiveness of Ukraine and Ukrainian producers.
«I believe the financial market of our agricultural enterprises will grow, and it will attract both Western and Eastern investors,» he noted.
