Ukrainian agricultural producers will receive state support

23.08.2013 11:43 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — Within this week during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers Mykola Azarov charged the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food with such a task, Mykola Azarov Official Website reports. «In response to the downward trend in world prices for grain, we are introducing a very favourable mechanism of credit support: government mortgage purchases,» Prime Minister said. He explained that from now on domestic agricultural producers would receive a loan from the state secured with grain at a rate only slightly higher than the NBU discount rate (at 6.9% per annum). Head of the Government gave the task to develop such a mechanism of credit support in the shortest possible time. We shall remind you that this year experts predict to expect a record grain harvest in Ukraine. It has also become known that in the near future our state plans to export grain to Korea.
