Grain harvest in Belarus is over 80% complete

Over 80% of grain and leguminous crops have been harvested in Belarus, Belarus Radio says referring to the Belarus Agriculture and Food Ministry report.
As to report, as of 13 August, a total of 1,860,200 hectares of grain and leguminous crops were cut, which is over 82% of the total sowing area. More than 6 million tonnes of grain was produced, with 757,100 tonnes sold to the state.
As to the operational data, grain fields yield 33.3 centners per hectare on average in the country. It is five centners per hectare more than from the same period last year. Grodno Oblast has the highest yield - 40.5 centners per hectare. Then goes Mogilev Oblast and Minsk Oblast.
This year Belarus plans to produce more than 9 million tonnes of grain, including corn.
