Revenues from the single tax payments exceeded UAH 3 billion

During the first half of 2013, taxpayers who are working on a simplified system of taxation have paid to the Budget of UAH 3.1 billion. Revenues increased by 1.6 times compared to last year. From January to June last year STS taxpayers directed to the Budget UAH 1.9 billion, Government Portal reports.
Vast majority of the amount was paid by entrepreneurs, individuals. The Budget received almost UAH 2.4 billion of single tax from private entrepreneurs and UAH 790.2 million from STS taxpayer.
According to statistics of the Ministry of Incomes and Fees, as of today nearly 1.4 million taxpayers operate on the simplified tax system and if to compare to the same period of last year the number increased to 100 thousand people.
Recall that this year has brought to single tax payers number of positive innovations. In particular, single tax rate is reduced from 10% and 7% to 7% and 5% respectively for taxpayers of 5th group, and reporting for taxpayers of 2nd is held annually not quarterly as earlier.
STS taxpayers also have the opportunity to apply for transfer to the simplified taxation system in electronic form, by the way at their own decision within a year they can change the group or the tax rate.
In addition, businesses will soon be able to keep an income and expenditures ledger in electronic mode.
