Ukraine, Kazakhstan to develop cooperation in oil and gas sphere

Within the next two years Ukraine and Kazakhstan will focus on cooperation in oil and gas sphere, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said during a meeting with Kazakhstan PM Serik Akhmetov, ForUm correspondent reports.
«Intergovernmental delegations have had a constructive and fruitful dialogue. Our countries do not have disputable problems, and we put hopes on the Road Map of cooperation we have signed,» Azarov said.
The parties also discussed and signed a cooperation program in the sphere of science and technologies.
«We have agreed to work out a plan of cooperation between space agencies of Ukraine and Kazakhstan for 20142015. Special attention has been paid to the cooperation in oil and gas sphere, as well energy security. We support Kazakhstan in its plans on diversification of energy resources transportation routes,» the Premier added.
«Both Ukraine and Kazakhstan have a potential of development. Kazakhstan PM has invited our business and me personally to take part in the work of the joint business forum in Astana. I gratefully accept the invitation and have already ordered to prepare the business forum,» Azarov summed up.
