Ukraine gained by selling at the world markets $ 22 billion since start of year

22.03.2013 10:14 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — The total foreign trade turnover of Ukraine in January-February 2013 amounted to $ 22 billion, of which 10.5 billion - is exported, and $ 11.5 billion - import, Government Portal reports. Ukraine carried out foreign trade operations in goods with partners from 192 countries. Ukraine exported goods to Asia of $ 2.7 billion and imported in the amount of $ 2.4 billion. China’s share in total imports is about 12% ($ 1.4 billion), and exports - 4% (441 million dollars). Import to America is amounted to $ 680 million, exports - worth 667 million dollars. The volume of trade with the United States amounted to 450 million dollars of import and $ 173 million of export. In Africa exported goods in the amount of 637 million dollars, import is $ 130 million. With the countries of the Australian continent imports amounted to 15.6 million dollars, the export - $ 9 million. Among the EU countries main trading partner was Germany (2% of total exports and 8% of total imports). Next is Poland (4% of exports and imports) and France (2.5% of imports and 1.5% of exports). On the whole trade turnover with the EU countries is amounted to 3.6 billion dollars of import and export - $ 3 billion. Concerning European countries, which are not in the European Union, the brisk trade took place with Switzerland (Ukraine imported goods in the amount of $ 154 million and exported in the amount of $ 12 million) and Norway (it was imported goods in the amount of $ 57 million and it was exported goods in the amount of $ 21 million). The volume of exports to the CIS countries totaled of $ 3.3 billion, imports amounted to $ 4.4 billion. Among the major trading partners of the CIS countries the Russian Federation is the main trade partner, so Ukraine exported goods to the Russian Federation in the amount of $ 2.4 billion, and imported in the amount of 3.7 billion. On the whole, Russia’s share in total imports is 32%, and exports - 23 %. With its other neighbor - Belarus - Ukraine sold as follows: $ 322 million were exports and 549 million - import. Another neighbor, Moldova, here we imported goods in the amount of about $ 12 million, export was $ 116 million. Export with Kazakhstan was 253 million dollars (import - $ 146 million).
