25.08.2022 14:12 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
Rapeseed harvesting is nearing completion in Ukraine. Last week, domestic prices rose slightly again. The growth took place against the backdrop of restraining sales of seeds by farmers, but the export market (on the western border) dropped significantly in terms of prices during the week. This may soon affect domestic prices as well. Export prices for rapeseed sank during the week amid falling quotes in Paris. Prices for rapeseed (non-GMO) at the western border of Ukraine fell to the level of USD530550/t for August/September shipments. The price range narrowed significantly compared to the previous week. At CPT Reni/Izmail, rape seeds are purchased at USD430440/t. Demand was noted on DAP terms for Romanian plants at prices within EURO570580/t (-EURO30/t), as well as on DAP terms for German plants at the level of EURO580590 /t (-EURO20/t), on DAP refineries in Bulgaria at the level of EUR570590/t (-UURO5/t).
