Germany should respect Russian agricultural export norms

If the standards of the Customs Union, which includes Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, applying to export of agricultural products from Germany to these states are not be met, their supply from Germany may be terminated altogether.
This warning was made in Berlin by the head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of the Russian Federation Sergey Dankvert, Voice of Russia reports referring to ITAR-TASS.
«We have every regard for German products, and acknowledge that Germany is one of our major trading partners in many spheres. However, a disrespect for the system, for Russian requirements for agricultural products is unacceptable,» said the official.
