Ukraine leaders honor World War II victims

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has laid flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Kyivs Park of Eternal Glory on the day of honoring World War II victims in Ukraine, the presidential press service has reported.
The flower-laying ceremony, apart from Yanukovych, was also attended by Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, Head of Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov, Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Anatoliy Prysiazhniuk, officials, representatives of non-governmental organizations, clergy, and WWII veterans. Those present honored the victims with a minute of silence.
