President Yanukovych leaves on working visit to Republic of Korea

In Seoul, Yanukovych will take part in the 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit, the press office of the head of state said in a statement Monday.
During the summit, the Ukrainian president will inform the international community of the full implementation of Ukraines commitment to get rid by 2012 of the stockpiles of highly enriched uranium, which the Ukrainian state assumed during the Washington Nuclear Security Summit in April 2010. Participating in the Seoul summit will be the heads of state and government, senior officials from 53 countries, representatives of the UN, the European Union, the IAEA and Interpol. During the visit a series of bilateral meetings of the President of Ukraine is also planned, including with the leadership of the Republic of Korea, and UN Secretary General, heads of delegations from other countries and international organizations, in particular the U.S. and the EU.
