Putin: Russia's economy at two-thirds of pre-crisis level

Russias economy is at two-thirds of its pre-crisis level, said Prime Minister Vladimir Putin when appearing on one of the central TV channels. The ruble is stabilizing, foreign exchange reserves growing, stressed the head of government.
According to Putin, battling the crisis has cost Russia three trillion rubles. Although this is an enormous sum, he said, some of these funds have been recouped, moreover, at a profit.
The Prime Minister added that during the difficult period many real sector enterprises no longer borrowed from the West to that extent, thus forced to implement new technologies and optimize personnel structure.
Putin said the government was working on a new package of laws in case of a second wave of crisis. Source: RIAN.
