10.01.2012 12:44 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
In the opinion of Governments Commissioner for European Integration Valeriy Piatnytsky, in case of successful implementation of the Free Trade Area Agreement with the European Union, Ukraine will approach the European market standards no earlier than in five years.
The matter does not simply concern customs tariffs, which will near zero in this or other way, but primarily, this concerns specific spheres, such as customs, sanitary, phytosanitary and technical regulations, competition rules, state purchases, protection of intellectual property rights. In other words, all those spheres, which actually determine legal and regulatory fields, in which business acts in any country, the Governments Commissioner for European Integration added.
