Shelters for stray dogs to be built in Kyiv, Chernihiv in 2012

Next year new shelters for stray dogs will be built in Kyiv and Chernihiv, Ecology Minister Mykola Zlochevski told a briefing, ForUms correspondent reports.
He told the press that Ukraine will take these measures under the influence of European organizations on nature protection, in particular British and German ones.
Zlochevski added he met with representatives of these organizations and agreed that they would not have any claims to Ukraine if next year Ukraine builds two shelters for stray dogs in Kyiv and Chernihiv.
According to the Minister, he has already agreed with local authorities of these cities on allocation of land for construction.
