Mykola Azarov: Signing of the FTA agreement opens economic prospects which didn’t exist within all 20 years of Ukraine’s independence

There have never been such prospects of economic growth in Ukraine within all 20 years of its independence as those ones which have opened after signing of the free trade area agreement within the Commonwealth of Independent States’ frameworks.
This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on 20 October, commenting on the signing of the Agreement on free trade area between the CIS countries at a regular meeting of the Heads of Governments of CIS countries in St. Petersburg on Tuesday.
The Members of the Government have met the Prime Minister with applause at the beginning of the meeting.
Mykola Azarov has underlined that the Government of Ukraine has always put this agreement in the first row of our foreign economic priorities. After all the CIS countries is - «more than a third of our exports, these are the traditional both ancient cooperation links and a huge potential market for Ukrainian goods.»
«This agreement provides execution of the strategic plan of the President of Ukraine: accelerated economic development of Ukraine, rising of living standards, new jobs creation,» the Head of Government has stressed. Thus he has added that it is also the fundamental improving of our trading balance and reduction of the risks of financial instability caused by the crisis in different parts of the world.
